Each single-unit residence is entitled to one (1) Town of Newfane or Modern Disposal garbage tote. Residents wishing to purchase or inquire about a 95-gallon wheeled cart (tote) for waste and/or recycling should call the Water Department at 716.778.8132 extension 6.
WASTE & LARGE ITEM(S) & RECYCLING PICK-UP SCHEDULE
Leaves, clippings, etc. will be picked up if contained in the appropriate tote and do not exceed the weekly limit.
All items must be contained with the exclusion of large items. No piles of refuse will be picked up.

Modern Disposal Services picks up all refuse and recycling.
Newfane residents should call Modern’s Customer Service Dept. at 1.800.330.7107 with any questions, concerns, or complaints regarding refuse/recycling.
MODERN DISPOSAL SERVICE INFORMATION
Modern Disposal recognizes the following holidays:
New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. If the holiday falls on or before your regularly scheduled pickup day, your pickup will be delayed by one day. If the holiday falls after your regularly scheduled pickup day, there will be no change in pick-up.
All refuse and recycling must be curbside by 5:00 AM.
